Not Pushing the Envelope
Video is on the Way

Awhile back I posted an article about Kevin Hinton, the tattoo artist we interviewed in Venice Beach. Noah Pollock, our writer, even got a tattoo from him while we were there. I posted the article without photos, without video, and received this comment from my dad:
“The entire time I was reading this, I was hoping there would be video at the end of the story. I can’t wait for the tour to get beyond Yellowstone so I can get your videos.”
I’m to the point where I don’t think I would be doing my team (who has been working diligently on compiling videos from the interviews) justice by posting only written summaries anymore. I don’t think that its fair to you, the reader, to post without video because it doesn’t allow you to “join the journey,” as our tagline proclaims. I don’t think it would be fair to our interviewees, who have overcome the fear of the camera, to share their story without including their passionate pitches.
And lastly, I want Pursue the Passion to be a multimedia resource of inspirational and informational interviews. Without video, I feel this goal cannot be accomplished.
With that said, we have about forty videos that are completed, but not yet posted. We are in the process of obtaining code from our video hosting site, and we should get this done by next week.
In the four days of downtime without new interviews being posted, I encourage you to check out our archive of interviews that we’ve compiled over the last year. We have over a hundred interviews ready to read. And if you really need new content every day to get your daily dose of passion, check out the Journey blog. It will be worth the visit.
